| 5 plum tomatoes chopped | 5 cloves of garlic squashed | 
| 1/8 cup of olive oil | ½ cup of chopped basil | 
| 1lb of wild-caught shrimp (peeled and cleaned) | ¼ cup of white wine | 
| ½ cup of water or choice of stock | Salt and pepper for taste | 
| ¼-½ cup of pasta water | 3/4lb-1lb of linguini (cooked as directed) | 
Instructions:
- Heat pan, add oil, and sauté garlic until golden brown.
 - Add chopped tomatoes, white wine, basil, and stock. Simmer for 6 minutes on low.
 - Add shrimp and cook for five minutes.
 - Cook pasta as directed, drain, and add to the pan. If needed add reserved pasta water at the end.
 - Serve with hot pepper flakes.
